Welcome to Kitojo Tourist Home

Kitojo Tourist Home is a bed and breakfast owned and operated by a God fearing family. Located in the country side with a stunning view of the Rwenzori Mountains and a 50 minute drive from Fort Portal we offer a quiet environment perfect for guests wishing to have quality time of retreat and relaxation.

Kitojo is in the heart of the crater Lakes region. Its closeness to Kibale national Park gives the guests good opportunity to track chimpanzees and see other primates.

Kitojo Tourist Home is the perfect base for safari destinations like Queen Elizabeth National park, Semuliki National Park and others.

Our home is surrounded by a natural environment waking up to bird twitter and sometimes monkey drama in the forest around.

We serve three course meals of Ugandan and International dishes.

Our accommodation ranges from single occupancy to family cottages which are self contained. We are also used to hosting larger groups.

Kitojo Tourist Home supports community tourism and Kitojo Integrated Development Association (KIDA), a community based project working to improve the livelihood of people in and around Kitojo

We also offer airport shuttle from Entebbe and other transport arrangements.

KIDA offers community members a wide range of services that involves vocational training, health services, counseling, drama & dance, and agricultural.
